02Is rope access safer than scaffolding?
It's now widely seen as safer and more efficient. Rope access technicians are trained and certified to work at height, often to a higher standard than scaffold crews, and there's no bulky structure to put up, take down or work around.
03What is rope access?
Rope access, also called industrial abseiling, uses ropes and specialist equipment to work safely at height or in hard-to-reach areas. It's used across construction, maintenance and inspection, and usually saves time and cost compared with scaffolding or lifts.
04What is confined space rescue?
The specialist process of safely extracting someone from an enclosed or restricted space where hazards may exist, such as low oxygen, toxic gases or difficult entry and exit points.
